Maggie White, a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree with a focus in Public Relations and Business Administration. Upon graduation she moved to Raleigh, NC and began working as a courier for Kirby &Holt, LLP. Through this, Ms. White gained firsthand experience working on civil litigation matters and found the law to be extremely interesting. Pursuing this interest, Ms. White attended and graduated from the Meredith College Paralegal Program in May of 2009, becoming a N.C. Certified Paralegal. She joined Tharrington Smith, L.L.P. as a legal assistant in the Education Law section in August 2009. After working with four attorneys in the section and learning new things about Education Law every day, Ms. White became a paralegal for the section in September 2011. She still learns something new every single day.
