Trish Crabtree serves as paralegal in the Education Law practice group. Ms. Crabtree began her career in the legal field in 1998 with a small, family law firm in Key West, Florida. Ms. Crabtree then moved to Spain in 1999 where her husband served a deployment in the United States Navy. Ms. Crabtree and her husband, a Tarheel native, moved to North Carolina with their newborn son in 2001. Ms. Crabtree was eager to return to the legal field and began working at a small law firm in Selma, NC, before joining Tharrington Smith in 2005. She works most closely with the attorneys in the Education Law practice group and primarily focuses on litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from St. Leo University. Ms. Crabtree earned her Certified Paralegal certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants and also has Advanced Certified Paralegal certification in discovery. Outside of the office, Ms. Crabtree enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son’s band and sporting events, as well as enjoying the many activities that the Triangle has to offer.
